Location: Kaua’i Museum, 4428 Rice St., Lihue; Free/donation accepted.
Eugene Punzal will explain the wonderful benefits of the coconut fruit, with samples to share in different stages of its development. Different types of basket weaving are demonstrated. All attendees will get their “hands-on” to make two coconut frond weaving toys: the buggy whip and the fish.
